Band Director

Classification: Full-Time Faculty Member
Supervisor: Music Department Chair & Chief Academic Officer
Supervises: None

Provides instrumental instruction, as well as moral, ethical, and spiritual instruction for assigned students in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of HSBC/CA and the curricular programs.

Responsibilities
  • Teach band classes for assigned levels
  • Prepare the band classes for competitions, Christmas Parade and special services
  • Oversee the care and distribution of instruments as needed
  • Work with teachers, administrators, and church personnel to find ways to showcase band students’ skills

Campus Work Director

Classification: Quarter-Time Staff Member
Supervisor: Vice President of Student Life
Supervises: Work students

To schedule and coordinate on-campus work hours for college students.

Responsibilities
  • At registration each semester, provide work students guidance.
  • Assign work scholarship students a work detail for the semester.
  • Make scheduling changes if a student has a conflict with academic or off-campus work.
  • Keep records on all students in program and share them with the Vice President of Student Life office once each month.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and help to develop good work habits by training work students.
  • Build student morale by administering positive discipline when work habits fall below expected norm.

Maintenance Assistant

Classification: Full-Time Staff Member
Supervisor: HSBC Maintenance Head & Vice President of Administrative Services
Supervises: None

Assist the Head of Maintenance in addressing the maintenance of the buildings and school housing owned or used by Hobe Sound Bible College and Christian Academy

Responsibilities
  • Assist in scheduling regular maintenance upkeep and repairs
  • Assist in addressing the needs as they are reported and entered into the portal
  • Work with FEA Ministries and Hobe Sound Bible Church as needed on shared maintenance needs

Vice President of Advancement

Classification: Full-Time Staff Member
Supervisor: President
Supervises: Assistant for Advancement

Develops and coordinates the activities and programs of HSBC/A relating to donor relations and fund-raising

Responsibilities
  • Donor relations

  • Develop memorial gift plans
  • Develop direct communications
  • Work with planned giving
  • Develop matching gift plan
  • Coordinate regional alumni and friends gatherings
  • Organize and supervise Phonathon
  • Plan the Partnership Banquet

  • Assist in areas of public relations as needed

Advancement Assistant

Classification: Half-Time Staff Member
Supervisor: Vice President of Advancement
Supervises: None

Coordinates the activities and programs of the Department of Advancement as the relate to assistant areas.

Responsibilities
  • Process donor records and matching gift forms
  • Receipting of gifts
  • Grant writing
  • Coordinate the printing and mailing of appeal letters
  • Assist with planning and execution of alumni and donor relations events
  • Assist with campus hospitality for constituents and special guests
  • Plan for and oversee the annual Phonathon
  • Plan for and oversee annual fundraisers
  • Oversee the preparation and publication of the Torch
  • Assist the VP of Advancement as needed

Salary is distributed on a 10 month or 12 month basis.
