Frequently Asked Questions

When may I arrive on campus?

We are excited that you’re coming and we are preparing right now so that when you get here your stay will be as enjoyable and welcoming as possible. We will be happy to open our campus to you on Monday evening February 22. Prospective students will be invited to stay in our Men’s and Women’s residence Hall respectively, and our parents and sponsors will be our guests at Friendship Hall and Mannor Hall courtesy of F.E.A Ministries here on our campus. We look forward to you coming! If, for some reason, you plan to be here earlier than that, please contact us. We will certainly try to accommodate your travel needs.

How long may I stay?

Although the events of Welcome Week really only last a couple of days, we are happy for you to enjoy an extended stay on our campus for a couple of days after Welcome Week. If for some reason you decide you want to stay longer, we have made arrangements at F.E.A Inc. and you may contact them to to schedule housing at an affordable rate after February 29th. Remember, your are our guests, and we want to accommodate you! Let us know how we can help.

How do I get there?

There is no doubt that Florida is a bit of drive from really anywhere else. But I guess that’s why we enjoy different weather than everywhere else! So, when you plan to visit us you may plan to drive and if so, we understand that. We always recommend that you at least check into flying commercially. There are several airlines that offer exceptional rates to West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) or to Orlando/Sanford Regional Airport (SFB) These airlines are often willing to sell tickets at a bargain price. Many of our students have found tickets for as little as $70 – $90. Remember to shop Spirit Airlines, Frontier Airlines and Allegiant Airlines. If you choose to fly into one of these airports, we will arrange shuttle transportation to and from the airport. Just let us know, we are happy to serve you.

Can I receive a travel voucher?

We recognize that a trip to Florida in the wintertime can be costly. We also know that this is a trip that will, without a doubt, have an effect on your life. In fact it may change your life forever. In the past several years the interest in Welcome Week has grown to such a proportion that we no longer offer travel vouchers to everyone attending. If you are a senior in high school and are planning to attend HSBC or if your are a sponsor of a group of 5 or more we are happy to help offset your travel expenses as much as we can. You may contact us directly for more details.
Know this! We want you to come and we don’t want money to be the thing that stands in the way of a life-changing trip. Give us a call or shoot us an e-mail about how we can help!
